About the Home Shop:

The Home Shop was a seed of an idea that took off and bloomed almost in an instance.  After 29 years at the drafting board and on job sites creating homes for families all over Vermont and around New England a shift happened - and for once, I trusted the concept of shift.  While the drafting board moved into the shop (ok, I admit to being more comfortable drawing with a pencil than on the computer aid drafting... but I am learning to embrace that too) the creative venture The Home Shop has enlightened in me has been pure joy.

I love many different lifestyles.  When working with clients in an Architectural Design capacity, I am always sensitive to what worked for the family whom I was working with.  The Home Shop gives me the opportunity to be surrounded by what I love and to share those items with others, such as:

The Home Shop is located in the historic Conant Block in downtown Brandon, Vermont alongside Blue Moon Clothing & Gifts, Gourmet Provence, The Village Spa, and Nourish Your Purpose.  Our family purchased and renovated the Conant Block in 2003... and then again after Tropical Storm Irene.  The sound of the Neshobe River can be heard in the shop.   When we are not in town we are likely to be found tending our garden, the chickens, taking a sauna or jumping off the rope swing a couple of miles away from the shop.
