Unframed artists proof signed by W. Mohr-collectible


Wendell Mohr, A.W.S., N.W.S. (1926-2008) was a prominent Midwest watercolor painter, printmaker and graphic designer. He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the Des Moines Iowa Art Center. For 20 years, Mohr worked as a graphic designer/illustrator for art studios, advertising agencies and publishers.


Mohr exhibited at the Des Moines Art Center, Joslyn Municipal Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska and the Nelson Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri. His paintings, prints and drawings are in a number of corporate and private collections including those of Equitable of Iowa Insurance Company and Marriott Hotel Corporation. He was a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Mohr taught classes and workshops throughout the Midwest and the southern United States.
