This conversation piece coaster would be a wonderful addition to your coffee table, dining table or counter. This trivet is "In Memory Of" a tiny kitten injured as a baby in a barn accident. He was paralyzed in his rear end, brought to C & W where we sent him to one of our vets in Swisher, Iowa who reconstructed his rear, removed back legs and tail and set him in a sock. Her daughter called him "sock kitty'. While he was there with the vet, someone abandoned a little chick and Hot Rod and Chickie became the best of friends, sleeping together in the bathroom every night and playing together. Hot Rod moved to C  & W and though his life was not meant to be a long one, Hot Rod taught all of us at C & W through his vital spirit and ability to take his 'differently abled' body and move like lightning, playing and enjoying life as any kitten should. He moved pretty fast in his wheelchair cart also. He gave us much via his spirit. This trivet is in his memory. He is not forgotten.
