Description

This gorgeous edition of high quality reproductions of Audubon's original watercolors and the mahogany display stand it sits on add instant elegance to a library or entrance table. Printed in a 14-point font on 200g deckled cream stock, the portfolio is 22 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches open and is French bound (unbound) in a handsome olive linen clamshell case. It is presented along with key notes and correspondence. Each copy is numbered from a printing of only 2500. The portfolio includes illustrations of 48 paintings. Prints may be leafed through, removed for consideration or framed as art. The mahogany stand is a work of art itself; it is 27" wide and stands12" high.
