Extend your growing season and create your own sunspace.  Solstice Solar’s complete set of architectural drawings provides construction details and materials list for a mostly passive 12’ x 16’ solar greenhouse.  The design features triple-wall polycarbonate panels for 80% UV transmissability with concomitant insulating properties.   The school’s new greenhouse (next to the High School) is this very design, and was constructed by students, teachers and parents.  Attached photos show greenhouse a) in early construction phase, and b) near completion.
