Travel back in time to enjoy a classic railroad experience. The Steptoe Valley Flyer was the train that carried 4.5 million passengers from 1906 to 1941 to White Pine County. The train tells the story of American. It is the historic hauler of miners, emigrants, cowboys, shoppers, school kids, business people and the U.S. Mail. We depart from the original depot, passengers board the original First-Class Passenger Car #5 (built 1882) behind Baggage/Railway Post Office
Car #20 (build 1906) and Steam Locomotive 40 (built 1910). Included in the trip are an emigrant’s meal and a narration that explains the reasons for the Steptoe Valley Flyer.
