30-minute lesson on any instrument at the Bloomingdale School of Music, a nonprofit, open access community music school with an extraordinary faculty of 56 teaching artists. It is located in Manhattan's Upper West Side—one of the centers of musical life in the city. The school has over 750 students of all ages studying 18 different musical instruments, playing in an orchestra or chamber music ensemble, or taking a class.
