Engraved Hand-Turned Wooden Ink Pen

Item Number: 200
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
This cherry wood ink pen was hand turned from a tree grown in Lawrence County, Mississippi by Jimmy Tyrone, the lay leader at Monticello United Methodist Church.
The wood was rescued by a logger who saw it lying in someone's yard and asked to buy it. The tree was given to him for removing it. He cut it into 1-inch boards and air cured it for two years.
Mr Tyrone acquired the wood from the logger, Larry Williamson.
The pen has been laser engraved with the United Methodist Cross & Flame.
