Mid-Spring, Summer Garden Tapas Party in Penny McHenry original spectacular garden, coined “Hydrangea Heaven.” Penny McHenry, founder of the American Hydrangea Society, was a tremendous voice and source of inspiration for hydrangea lovers and gardeners throughout her life, She has an honorary section in both the State Botanical Gardens (Athens) and the Atlanta Botantical Gardens, there is a genus and species of hydrangeas named for her. The garden is now the home of Mr. Conner our assistant principal.
