Beekeeper and District Grandpa Greg Gran will give a fun, interactive presentation on bees for your class, scouting troop or kids' party, including up to 25 kids. He will cover the life cycle of bees and hive activity. You will get to examine up close a real bee hive (without the bees) and learn how honey is extracted from the comb. The fascinating presentation is one hour, but in past presentations kids were so engaged they asked questions for another hour! Appropriate for 1st graders and older. Held at a location of your choice. Date to be mutually agreed upon. If desired, the presentation may be given to a group of adults instead of children. Includes three 1-lb. jars of Greg Gran's locally-harvested raw wildflower honey to enjoy after the event!
