Your child and a friend will accompany Mrs. Dineen, Assistant Principal at La Entrada, on a busy Friday. The day will begin in the main office, followed by a walk around the campus, checking on the facility and ensuring that students are going to classes on time. A special announcement will follow during third period, made by the Assistant Principal for the Day. During the day, several important meetings will be scheduled where input from the Assistant Principal for the Day will be required. As soon as lunch duty supervision is completed, Mrs. Dineen will take her assistants out for a business lunch where school planning will continue. Mrs. Dineen and the students' teachers will arrange for a mutually acceptable Friday in either May, June or the beginning of the next school year. This is a wonderful opportunity for any student who enjoys leadership roles, finds themselves running the show during play dates and/or enjoys learning more about the workings of a school. Prerequisites: You must have a love of children, a good sense of fair play and the ability to blow a whistle. If you're a student who has ever visited Mrs. Dineen's office, your participation in the bidding is highly encouraged.
