Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking together. Nose of sandalwood, soapstone, white pepper and mixed dark fruits. Flavors of black cherries, black berries, plums and wet stones. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now, perhaps over the next 3-4 years. Notice the suggestion of spice and oak on the back end that seems a trademark of Hartwell. Lovely.
