Synthesizing all they learned this year about NYC architecture, landmarks and our community, Ms. Halls' talented and ingenious artists have painted, in watercolor, their interpretation of Manhattan. You'll recognize Manhattan's well-known skyscrapers, museums, and historical landmarks, as well as popular sites in our Upper West Side neighborhood, including our own PS199. Painting the NYC sunset and sidewalks as a backdrop, the children have also added taxis, buses, benches and trees, to help set the scene. This stunning auction project reminds us all of the beauty found in our city. Viewing it from a 2nd graders eye will leave you in awe and always make you smile. Size approximately 43" X 33".
