This photograph is from Monument Valley, Arizona.  It was shot in the late afternoon taken from the Navajo Indian Visitor's Center.  Any fan of the Old West movies of John Ford should recognize it as he used it as a backdrop for many films including this summer's flop, The Lone Ranger.
