Retreat to the serenity the Appalachian Mountains just a 3½ hours’ drive from Grace, located only minutes away from the charming downtown West Jefferson Arts District.  This two bedroom, one bathroom house is surrounded on 3 sides with mountains.  Sleeps 5 (Queen, Full, and twin sleeper sofa) with linens included.  For the growing family, two spacious closets have ample room for a pack and play or a twin blow up mattress (not provided).  The house features a large custom kitchen, 36-inch TV in the living room, cast iron gas stove, and hardwood floor throughout, with a full sized washer and dryer.  There is a large deck with a beautiful mountain view, a gas grill, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows or just chasing away the evening chill.   Enjoy this NC mountain private getaway in a relaxing country setting.  You will see cows grazing in the nearby pasture, and depending on the time of year may enjoy watching the hummingbirds or get a glimpse of the wild turkeys or deer off the back deck.  Enjoy just sitting on the deck, hiking in the Nature Preserve adjoining the back of the property, visiting area attractions including historic Todd and Glendale Springs, take a scenic 40 minute drive to Boone or Blowing Rock, or take a day trip to Grandfather Mountain or Linville Falls.
