You are bidding on a painting that was created the 3rd grade art students at GRACE Christian School.  The finished project measures 24"x36" (vertical).

Under the direction of art teacher Merrily Boyd, GRACE third grade students learned about Georgia O'Keeffe and her large-scale, up-close paintings of flowers and other objects.  Though magnified, her flowers looked realistic and showed her skill at mixing and blending colors.  On a smaller scale, each student created one flower painting that took up the whole page of a 5"x5" paper.  They practiced mixing and painting with tints and shades, or colors mixed with white and black.  Students then cut out their flowers and helped arrange them in a mixed media scene of a vase full of blooming flowers.
