You are bidding on a clay nativity set that has been hand crafted by 6th grade art students at GRACE.  You will treasure this one-of-kind addition to your Christmas decor for years to come.  

Under the direction of art teacher Merrily Boyd, GRACE sixth grade art elective students read the accounts of Jesus' birth in Matthew and Luke.  Each student selected one figure or part of the scene to sculpt and glaze.  Students worked individually but collaborated to create a set unified by style, size, and color choices.  The finished set includes a stable, Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, shepherds, angels, wise men, and a variety of animals.

All pieces are made from red earthenware clay and glazed with "artist's choice" glazes for a beautiful rustic effect.  This set is a wonderful reminder of the greatest Christmas gift ever given--God's Son.
