Fifth grade students collaborated on this  "Typography Alphabet" a one-of-a-kind item created with marker and watercolor pencil on paper.

Fifth grade students researched "typography," or the different letters or "type" that has been used to make printed materials.  Each student was assigned an uppercase or lowercase letter.  Students then designed their own letter by hand, basing their design on a particular font or type.  They used one Sharpie and at least one watercolor pencil in a different color in their design.  All letters were arranged to make one unique alphabet!
