Five Points Baking Company, LLC is a brand new Raleigh, NC  venture dedicated to producing gluten free, all-natural snacks without sacrificing flavor or texture. Our mission is to offer gluten free options without compromise – the kind of treats you look forward to savoring, not mere imitations of your original favorites.  

This mission is personal as well as corporate. Our company was inspired during the founder's quest to create a satisfying snack for her husband – a Type I Diabetic with Celiac disease. He wanted something he could snack on by the handful, but the options for a low-carb, gluten free snack were limited to say the least. Many, if not most, of the commercially available gluten free snacks boast exceptionally high carbohydrate content - a deal breaker for diabetics and others watching their blood sugar. He was left with few options – until months of test kitchen experiments yielded success in the creation of our new Artisanal Cheese Straws. With all the goodness of almonds, our cheese straws are gluten free while boasting 3g carbs and 5g protein per 1 oz serving. We mean it when we say the classic Southern cheese straw just got better!
