Join Hawk Mountain Senior Monitoring Biologist Laurie Goodrich and Kutztown University Associate Professor Dr. Chris Saachi for a guided hike off the beaten path. This is a very special opportunity to see areas of the Sanctuary normally not open to the public, and guided by a knowledgable educator, naturalist and researcher.High bidder may bring up to seven close friends and family. Walk will include wildlife and hawk watching, as well as insight on Hawk Mountain's natural and cultural history.
Special Instructions
High bidder and participants must have the ability to walk 3 to 4 miles on uneven terrain and carry a daypack with lunch, bottled water, binoculars and field guide. Bag lunch provided.
NOTE: Hike must take place between June and October 2013 at a mutually agreeable date between winning bidders and Dr. Goodrich/Dr. Saachi.
