Join Deborah Edge, the granddaughter of Hawk Mountain founder Rosalie Edge, and Deb's husband Neal Mann on any Friday/Saturday through Sunday and enjoy a weekend learning about Hawk Mountain's unique history while enjoying our nation's Capital. Your visit will include a Saturday night dinner and Sunday breakfast in their home.


Saturday evening dinner will be served using Rosalie Edge's china and silver, and surrounded by the Edge family photos and other memorabilia. The Edge/Neal home is located on charming Capitol Hill, within walking distance of the Capitol, the Eastern Market, the museums on the Mall, and the Metro.


This is a special opportunity to view items from Rosalie's personal home life, including beautiful historic pieces and original photographs not available to the general public.

Special Instructions

Rosalie Edge was a pioneer conservationist and the founder of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.  Hawk Mountain was purchased in 1934, making it the world's first refuge for birds of prey.


Includes two nights of lodging, dinner on Saturday night, the Edge/Mann's famous waffle breakfast on Sunday, and general hospitality. Good for two guests on a mutually agreeable weekend.  Expires 6/1/2014.
