Description

Falconry originated in Central Asia more than 4,000 years ago when hawks, eagles, and falcons were used to hunt wild game. Today, it continues in practice as a field sport, with about 4,200 devotees in the U.S. who are licensed by both state and federal wildlife agencies.

The Falconry Experience by The Hotel Hershey offers a unique opportunity for families and guests of all ages to participate in an educational, entertaining, and interactive demonstration featuring hawks, falcons, and a golden eagle. It includes free-flight demonstrations, a simulated hunt demonstration, and an opportunity for you to have one of these majestic birds of prey fly in and land on your hand! The program is run by master falconer Jack Hubley. Hubley, a life-long resident of Lititz, PA has been a licensed falconer for 25 years. You'll appreciate his engaging style and knowledge of these magnificent birds.

The winning bidder and up to five guests will experience this first-hand.  In addition, the Hershey Hotel has donated a one-night stay for two in their historic and prestigious hotel.

This Live Event Item offers Absentee Bidding.
