Woolen Needle-felted Fruit Plate by Wooliedales Etc.

Item Number: 221
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
This trio of fruit is sculpted by hand, using the needle-felted technique. The Fichi d'India, or cactus pear or prickly pear, is 6" wide, and the real deal is said to taste like a mix of bubblegum, watermelon, and strawberries! The pomegranate has a diameter of 3 1/4" and is overlaid with varying levels of red/orange tones, duplicating what is called "the jewel of autumn." The pear stands 4" high. All three fruits are found in abundance in Italy and are sitting on an 8" diameter plate of laminated wood.
