Description
Bike to the heart of the Champlain Islands on July 13th with Vermont Farm Tours during the annual Open Farm and Studio Weekend.
Choose a 10 or 25-mile route with stops at a variety of island farms, art studios, and vineyards. Registration opens 8:30 am, tour begins 10 am.
All routes include a mix of lakeside views and scenic back roads. Wide shoulders on most paved stretches, dirt roads, and mild hills make for unmatched cycling. There will be plenty of places to fill your water bottle, rest, and sample local eats along the route.
Great lunch is available for purchase at Snow Farm Vineyard and along the way at Wally's Place Bagel & Deli and the Champlain Islands Farmers Market.
