Description

The painting "Le Luberon" is a 20" x 24" acyrllic paiting on canvas and was inspired by the colors and landscape of this region in the south of France, especially the yellows and blues. It was also inspired by a painting the artist saw while visiting the region.

From Carol Ann Nulk, the artist

I have a background in art, selling professionally, as well as being a member of various art groups.  After moving back to California I joined the San Jose Museum of Art acting as museum docent, Let’s Look at Art docent and chairwoman of the SJMA docents.  About 5 years ago I restarted my painting career focusing on acrylics.  My art also includes watercolor, pen and ink, pencil, mosaic, travel sketches and murals.  It gives me great pleasure to bring my travel photographs to life with landscapes, bright colors and detailed floral paintings.  Painting puts me in my “happy zone”.
