Haut Brion tasting notes: A classic claret with all the notes of cassis, vanilla, tar, tobacco and spice. Amazing complexity and great length. Chateau Pichon Lalande tasting notes: Nose shows mushroom, cassis, plum, and cedar notes. Very red and silky on the palate. Still young but certainly no crime to open this now. Some chocolate notes framed by plenty of tannin. Classy wine.
