This one-day whitewater kayaking class will introduce you and a friend to basic whitewater kayaking skills. Course content includes proper clothing, equipment review, strokes, boat control, safety, water reading, and good river judgement. Price includes boat, paddle, sprayskirt, lifejacket and helmet. Class runs 8:00am through 4:00pm and begins as the Philadelphia Canoe Club in East Falls. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Class held rain or shine on June 30, July 13, 20, 27, August 3, 10 or 18, 2013.
