While the gardens vary in size, location, composition, and plant material, there is a common thread: each garden has had significant owner input. Some of the features which stand out are several water gardens; cottage gardens bursting with color from early spring through late autumn; dramatic use of local granite as hardscape; and beautifully crafted gardens overlooking the sea.
