Zagat description is as follows:  Out of an “unassuming little yellow cottage”, this Venice “gem” (with a larger outpost in Marina del Rey) delivers “luscious” Cal-Italian fare – including a “melt-in-your-mouth” beet pasta with quail ragu that’s the stuff of “dreams” – to a “trendy” clientele; though “crowded” tables are a drawback, the candlelit setting is otherwise “romantic” and the “charming” staff “greets you like friends”, so it’s a “special” (and “expensive”) “treat.”
