Description

This set of icon-style plaques will be a welcome addition to your home. Both plaques have an attractive antiqued finish. The iconic image of Christ Pantocrator was one of the first images of Christ developed in the Early Christian Church. In the half-length image, Christ holds the New Testament in his left hand and makes the gesture of teaching or of blessing with his right. It measures 7" x 10".


The Italian Byzantine style of The Mother of God as "Directoress." It's an iconographic depiction of the Theotokos (Virgin Mary) holding the Child Jesus at her side while pointing to Him as the source of salvation for mankind. It measures 7.25" x 10.25".
