La Folie is a family run restaurant located in Russian Hill. Chef Roland Passot, with his wife Hamie opened La Folie in March of 1988.  Their cuisine features French Contemporary using local farmers and ingredients.  La Folie continues to be rated as one of the top restaurants, receiving a star from the Michelin Guide and 4 stars from the San Francisco Chronicle.
