Our family vineyard is planted in the Rutherford appellation of the Napa Valley, 500 feet above the valley floor, overlooking the fog line with a northeastern exposure in Rutherford. The site sees sun from early morning until late afternoon ensuring even ripeness. Cool nights help to develop firm tannins and fresh acidity creating remarkable structure and balance in our wine. We are fortunate to have rocky serpentine soils rich in iron and magnesium. This unique mineral deposit provides layers of complexity and flavor.

The Wine:  

It has aromatics of cranberry, blackberry, lavender, cocoa and white pepper. It is medium bodied with a broad mid-palate.
Oak treatment and site offer rugged tannins typical of our vineyard and lend to this wine aging potential.
