Michael Behar is offering three hours of professional content editing, which could entail websites, books, articles, memoirs, professional correspondence, or any other non-technical or medical material--a value of $150. Michael Behar is a freelance writer and editor based in Boulder, Colorado. As a writer, Michael has been covering adventure travel and extreme sports, renewable energy and the environment, aviation and aerospace, health and medicine, and innovations in science and technology. He is the former science editor for National Geographic. He was also a senior editor at Wired magazine from 1995 - 2000. Michael is a contributing writer for OnEarth and Mother Jones magazines, and an editor at TED Books. Michael earned a master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalismat Northwestern University and holds a bachelor's degree in writing and literature from the University of Washington's College of Arts and Sciences. Michael won a gold medal for feature writing from the North American Travel Journalists Association for his 2012 article about astronaut training for Virgin Galactic's space tourists. He is member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and his work has been nominated for a National Magazine Award (twice) and the Grantham Prize for Excellence in Reporting on the Environment, and featured in The Best American Travel Writing, The Best American Science and Nature Writing, and The Best of Technology Writing anthologies.
