Description
2009 Domaine Bernard Baudry Chinon Le Domaine Cabernet Franc Chinon
Very dark red violet color; tart currant, herbaceous nose; medium-plus finish.
2004 Chateau Lascombes Margaux
93 points Robert Parker: "Another brilliant effort from this estate, the 2004 Lascombes (a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot) exhibits a deep blue/purple hue along with a sweet perfume of blueberries, black raspberries, cherries, incense, smoke, and spring flowers. While opulent, underneath the full-bodied richness of fruit and depth is a structured wine. As it sits in the glass, an espresso roast character (no doubt from new oak) also emerges. Enjoy this pure, structured, fleshy beauty between 2010-2025." (06/07)
2009 Domaine de Marcoux Red Wine Chateauneuf Du Pape
"93 points Wine Spectator
""Quite rich, with voluptuous cherry preserves, red currant paste and linzer torte notes are racing along, inlaid with mouthwatering toasted spice, anise and graphite flavors all driving through the finish."" (2/ 2012)"
