Description

2007 John Tyler Wines Zinfandel Bacigalupi Vineyard

"Aromas of oregano, cooking spices and a hint of white pepper complemented with subtle flavors of anise seed and bramble berry. Luscious deep fruit characteristics and a beautiful tannin structure on the mid palate with a long full finish. 92 points by the Wine Enthusiast."

2007 Nickel & Nickel Bonfire Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley

Located in the Dry Creek Valley, Bonfire Vineyard is situated on two rolling hills that are positioned to receive maximum sunlight exposure during the day. The soils are composed of a gravelly loam fused with red components that come from oxidized iron, which is indicative of ultra premium Zinfandel vineyards in the area. While the weather is warmer in this area than in the Russian River Valley, the marine influence still provides a natural acidity that produces a wine of excellent proportion.

2009 Deux Amis Zinfandel

Smooth, full, rich and balanced. Enjoy the deep-set aromas of ripe blackberry, raspberry and plum as they mingle with notes of coffee, cocoa and oak. Then dive in to the delicious entry that retains its richness as it flows into the long finish. The characteristics found in the nose are graciously repeated on the palate. Perfectly balanced, this classic Zin offers beautifully integrated fruit, oak and tannins in an easy-going structure.

2010 Michael-David Vineyards Lust Zinfandel

Each year only the most outstanding small lots are isolated from the over 100 produced at Michael David to bottle under Lust. This vintage, three lots stood out as being the most structured while displaying a ton of ripe berry and spice characteristics we all expect to come from a Zinfandel.

2009 Dutcher Crossing Maple Vineyard Zinfandel

Best of Class & Gold at 2012 LA International Wine Competition and Gold at Monterey Wine Competition. The 2009 vintage took a little longer in the bottle to show itself but it is well worth the wait. Classic stone fruits, blackberry and white pepper jump out and almost dance on the palate.
