Mixed media artwork: thread on photographic transfer on fabric, 8"x8" Ehren Reed is a San Francisco artist. She holds a BFA from California College of Arts and a BA in Latin American Studies from Kenyon College, Gambier, OH. Her recent work relies on digital and found photography. Ehren blends traditional craft and contemporary media to investigate interpersonal relationships and contemporary culture. Her process employs digital media reinterpreted through stitching and embroidery, creating works that develop a conversation between the ethereal world of technology and the hand-hewn physicality of craft.
