• This community art project was created by all 400 students, along with teachers, staff, parents and artists
• Inspired by jazz, student buddy pairs transferred their feelings and ideas onto a square of copper, and 4th graders created a poem
• As with jazz, the improvisations of soloists melded together to form a cohesive whole
• 225 copper tiles mounted in a 44” square frame, ready for display!
