The Crisis Prevention Institute Training provides staff members with the skills and preparation to facilitate learning with all students, regardless of needs. Specifically, CPI Training helps staff learn verbal and nonviolent strategies to assist students exhibiting behaviors that prevent them from participating in their learning environment. Each year Initial and Refresher trainings are offered to staff outside of their contracted work time. This grant would fund the Refresher Training Stipends for 30 staff members.
