This beautiful felted wool tapestry, approximately 18" x 24", was made with love and joy by the Yellow Rose Kindergarteners.

Ms. Sarah explains the process:

"First the children layered wool to compose a garden of flowers several criss crossing layers deep. Netting was placed over the piece and then hit water was poured over he top. The children scrubbed and scrubbed with bars of soap. Plenty of smashing, squishing and pressing occurred before the tapestry was finished. Ms. Sarah needle felted the edges down and added a few more flowers."
