Traditionally the 6th Grade project is a self portrait. This year, rather than painting on canvas, students created shadowboxes. Inspired by American artist Joseph Cornell, they used found objects, decorative papers, images, etc. to create a little world that illustrates them...their interests, opinions, aesthetics and spirits.
