"The color was a deep ruby red almost opaque, showing less age than other bottles of the same vintage of this wine I have had in the past. It presented flowers, anise and mint on initial pouring and then some mixed rose bouquet and hints of tobacco. In the mouth it was round, balanced and harmonious with the fruit and acidity working together as well as they can do in a Nebbiolo wine. There were no up front tannins as these had melted into the wine's cherry and blackberry tastes that lingered quite a bit." 93 points. Cellar Tracker.
