Bradley Wayne "Brad" Penny (born May 24, 1978) is a retire major league baseball player. He is best know in south Flordia for his play for the Florida Marlins during their 2003 season which ended with a World Series win. Penny has spent portions of his career in Major League Baseball with the Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers.


IN 2000 Penny broke into the Major Leagues with the Florida Marlins. In 2003, Penny collected the win in Florida's NLCS clinching victory over the Chicago Cubs and in the World Series against the New York Yankees he went 2–0 with a 2.19 ERA in his two starts.
