Therese Spears was the owner of Promenade's Le Bead Shop in Boulder, CO, from 1980 to 2002.  During that time she taught beadwork nationally, wrote, illustrated and published 4 books on beadwork and jewelry making, had an international mail order company and designed jewelry.  She loved dressing the window, making fabulous displays.  The store was sold in 2002, then she went into the healing field of alternative modalities.  She had already become a Nia instructor and was also on the way to a fitness career teaching Yoga, Pilates and Zumba.  She is a certified Watsu Therapist, Zen Shiatsu Therapist.
