"Wheels of Transformation"
The charkha, or spinning wheel, in India is a symbol of transformation and self-reliance. In the book Grandfather Gandhi, the interlocking spinning wheels, each one moving the other, illustrate Gandhi's legacy to use his own anger to inspire others to create change for the better. White spinning wheels on a field of gold, painted with acryl gouache.
