Kathleen Foley McKenna was born in Meridan, CT, and grew up in the little town of Snug Harbor, RI. In her role as a "Navy wife," she has lived and traveled around the US and the world. She has always been recognized as having a flair for the arts and excels in several different media. But a trip to a stained glass store for a lamp repair many years ago turned into a newfound love of stained glass -- not the art of stained glass but the glass itself.  Her life as a Mosaic Artist began. Since that day, she has gone on to create original designs and many custom orders of stepping stones, signs for local businesses and much more. Her unique creations include mosaicked guitars, a kitchen backsplash, a fireplace surround and any small item such as trinket boxes and votive candle chambers. if it can be mosaicked, Kathleen can create a design that is both original and breathtaking. Kathleen would like to someday work on a public installation with other mosaic artists. Kathleen is now an artist local to LBI and Barnegat, NJ, and finds the rich artistic flair of the local area inspirational and remarkably beautiful.
