Paul Thisted says, "I am an Evergreen, CO, artist specializing in oil paintings of Colorado and the west.  I paint in a representational style infused with color and feeling.  My inspiration comes from exploring Colorado's endless diversity of subject matter, often hiking off the beaten path looking for images of beauty, character, age, and the western life.  I enjoy painting plein air and in my studio, as, with paintbrush in hand, I am on a meditative journey to capture a vision.  I currently exhibit in two artists co-ops in Evergreen and Georgetown."
