Description

Lisa Garness Mallory is a Denver, Colorado native noted for unique use of color, line, texture, shape and composition in her cutting-edge fine art photography. She says: "I created my technique of using needles and wood carving tools to hand etch on each photograph. I am passionate to enhance detail, so each white line is my mark.  Considered a pioneer forging new ground in fine art photography, my process has feminine flare yet is 'edgy'.  I am also a painter, using colored links along with fine art acrylic pens to create on canvas and other surfaces.  An artist is who I am.  My passion and drive to create will continue to evolve as my imagination leads me to new and different areas in my craft."  www.lisagarnessart.weebly.com

Special Instructions

"Forever Cranes"

I used wood-carving tools, then painted over my carvings with waterproof inks.  I chose to carve a crane couple to symbolize love.  The carved designs around the cranes symbolize happiness and hope for generations to come.
