Yoram Gal was born in Jerusalem in 1952 and has exhibited his art since he was 13. He graduated with a BFA from Tel-Aviv University with honors in theater, acting and directing. In addition to painting, he acts, produces and directs shows. He has participated in many art events in the U.S. and the prestigious 2005 International Biennale in Firenze, Italy.
