Evelyn Lombardi Lail's earliest experience in art was doing a mural in third grade.  Her first juried exhibition was at the Denver Art Museum.  A profound experience in her life was having a year's study in Florence, Italy. She says she "works with constant elements of pure form to figurative imagery using color, surface treatments, layering with watermedia."
