Her portrayal garnered critical acclaim, and she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

About the Artist: Monica Herrera was born in Washington state and moved to Colorado when she was 16.  "I always have enjoyed the art field in life and have taken many art classes throughout my educational years," she says.  "I also have a passion for writing and decorating.  I have been painting for the Mask Project since 2008 and enjoy immensely being part of such a wonderful organization.  I would say that my strongest passions in life are God, family and creating beautiful things."
